There
are many reasons why I like Bicycle Revolutions. I will focus on just
three of them.
First, is knowledge. Bryan knows bikes. He knows what is available in
the marketplace. He knows what works, and what does not. He knows the
strengths and weaknesses of everything he sells. He knows which parts
are compatible with others.
Second, is quality. Bryan is a great bicycle mechanic. He takes deep,
and justifiable, pride in the work performed by his shop. If he does
something for you, it is done right. When someone other than Bryan works
on a bike, Bryan seems to be aware of every turn of every bolt, so it
is as though he did the work himself.
Third, is honesty. If you ask to buy an item, and a less expensive alternative
exists, you will be told about it. If you request service that you do
not need, you will be dissuaded from getting it. If you ask a question
about something, you will be given a balanced answer, without hype.
If you have a complaint, it will be handled fairly.
On top of all this, the shop is welcoming and friendly. I have been
a regular customer since the shop opened two years ago. I am very happy
to have such an exceptional bicycle shop in my neighborhood.

Hi
Jose'–Just a word of thanks for the help in hooking me up with
the Salsa Mamasita. I knew I was looking for something other than the
mass produced 29ers that are becoming more commonplace and also what
I was looking to spend, as "different" can more often than
not equal "expensive" when it comes to bikes. Even though
what I ended up with was not sitting on the floor, the help you guys
gave really assisted in my decision making. To have the bike, complete
with the handbuilt by Bryan wheels, in two weeks, and in time for my
first race of the year was just great. Let Bryan know that the wheels
kick ass. I read repeatedly that one of the drawbacks with 29ers is
that with the longer spokes, it is difficult to keep wheels running
true. I thought that, combined with my penchant for picking truely awful
lines, would have my wheels in the shops on a weekly basis. Needless
to say they have been fast and true, and the pink hubs are the bomb.
Thanks again for the help, have a good one
—Scott H, Manayunk

Why
We Love Bicycle Revolutions
—By Molly Church and J.R. Flanders
"Bicycle Revolutions is great for so many different reasons, it's
hard for us to count. These guys take the utmost pride in their work,
which ultimately results in some truly bitchin' machines. We never feel
any sales pressure here at all, and yet prices are never hidden. As
soon as you walk into the shop and catch a glimpse of the quality bikes
and totally custom wheels, you know this is truly a rad shop. You guys
rock!"
—Molly and J.R.
